Our Eco-Policy

Frame of Mind is dedicated to preserving the Earth’s natural resources. We strive to reduce material waste and unnecessary plastic use. We use materials & supplies that are made from recycled & sustainable resources whenever possible. We use distributors and vendors with an eye on the health of our planet. Larson-Juhl is an industry leader in sustainability, partnering with The Forestry Stewardship Council and The Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification. Omega provides 100% sustainable moldings and Crescent has increased the amount of recycled materials in their mat boards. Bainbridge/Crescent also use quality assurance teams that ensure adherence to ethical sourcing practices. The framing industry is more eco- friendly than ever before and Frame of Mind is doing it’s part to help protect the environment.

“Larson-Juhl has the largest collection of sustainable products on the market with 333 FSC or PEFC approved frames and 142 mountboard options also being FSC certified.”

“We take our commitment to sustainability seriously. As part of our goal to minimize our impact on the environment, our wood mouldings are made from plantation-grown and legally harvested wood sources and not natural forests.”

— Omega Molding Company

“Crescent takes great pride in implementing environmentally responsible programs and being the industry leader in recycling. We recycle over a million pounds of paper and board every year. All raw components used in constructing our matboards are biodegradable, as well.”
